For Latinx Heritage Month, Spotify USA wanted to create a brand and social impact campaign that communicated the diversity within the Latinx community and their resilience. In collaboration with an incredibly talented internal team we created “Aquí Siempre”, an awareness campaign that amplified the voices shaping Latinx culture today, including those that challenge stereotypes, fight adversity, and uplift Latin American communities through their work.
We worked with photographer Camila Falquez to capture a series of stills/video portraits of key characters of the communities, musicians and podcasters. The digital pieces were displayed through Spotify digital channels and we invited the poet Yesika Salgado to put the words to the pieces with a beautiful poem.
The campaign culminated with a billboard in Times Square that featured the faces of the Latinx creators and got thousands of positive reactions and a huge amount of engagement in Social Media.
